What I Learned From My 72-Hour Fast

(And How I Used AOD from BioAccess to Support Fat Loss)

I decided to complete a full 72-hour fast this week. No solid food. Just water, electrolytes, black coffee, and light supplementation. I went into it for a mix of reasons: mental clarity, metabolic reset, and to challenge myself. I came out of it with more than I expected.

Here’s what actually happened.

The First 24 Hours

The first day was mostly about breaking habit, not dealing with hunger. Most of the “I should eat something” thoughts were just routine. Once I got past the normal mealtimes, it felt surprisingly straightforward. Energy was stable, and I stayed busy.

Hours 24–48

This was where things shifted. I could literally feel my body switching fuel sources. Hunger came in waves, but each wave passed in minutes. I noticed sharper focus, steadier mood, and a clean, even kind of energy. Not jittery. Just… awake.

At this point, my body was running primarily on stored fat. This is where autophagy becomes meaningful. Cells repairing themselves. Old proteins getting cleared. The “spring cleaning” effect everyone talks about isn’t hype.

Hours 48–72

This was the deep end of the fast. Hunger almost disappeared entirely. It’s like the body figures it out and stops complaining. I felt lighter, clearer, and calm. Sleep was solid. Work was productive. I even trained lightly and did cold plunges without issue.

This is also where fat loss really became noticeable

Where AOD 9604 from BioAccess Comes In

During the fast, I used AOD 9604 from BioAccess each morning. Not as a magic fat-melter, but as a metabolic accelerator.

AOD works by signaling the body to increase fat breakdown (lipolysis) and reduce fat storage, without stimulating appetite or affecting glucose the way traditional growth hormone can. It helps mobilize stubborn fat, especially around the midsection.

During a fast, your body is already primed to burn fat. Adding AOD essentially nudges the gas pedal in the direction you’re already going.

It’s not hype — you can feel the difference.

  • Leaner look in the mirror

  • Faster “tightening” around the waist

  • Energy stays stable instead of dipping

AOD complements the fast instead of working against it.

The Results

  • Starting weight: 213.6

  • Post-fast weight: 208.6

Yes, some of that is fluid shift. But the visual change was real. My face was tighter. Waist slimmer. Inflammation gone. The mirror doesn’t lie, and the way clothing fits tells the truth better than a scale ever will.

More important than the numbers, though:

  • My appetite reset

  • Cravings dropped significantly

  • I feel in full control, not run by habit

This was the real win.

What I’d Tell Anyone Considering a 72-Hour Fast

It’s not about starving yourself. It’s about giving your metabolism room to breathe.

If you do decide to try it:

  • Have electrolytes on hand

  • Keep carbs very low when you break the fast

  • Don’t panic when you feel a dip — it passes in minutes

  • And if fat loss is part of the goal, AOD from BioAccess pairs extremely well

Final Thoughts

I didn’t do this as a stunt or punishment. I did it as a reset, and it worked.

I feel clearer. Lighter. More disciplined. More in control.

And yes — I’ll do it again.

If you’re working on fat loss, improved metabolic function, or simply regaining control of your habits, a structured fast combined with targeted support like AOD can be a powerful reset button.
